Meet Alexander Rose. The 22-year-old had worked as an apprentice in the metal industry for more than five years before passing his technical diploma, yet at the same time he dreamt of working abroad. With Erasmus+ and the Internship Programme he got the opportunity to travel to London and try out an entirely different industry for a few weeks, namely childcare.

In this article the 18-year-old explores the differences she encountered at her work placement, Little Smile Nursery, in comparison with her work and education at BAKIP Amstetten, a school in Lower Austria.
