Meet Angelo Felkl, our next student of the month!

Angelo is 18 years old and comes from a smale village in Austria. Already as a child he was interested in taking pictures and creating a new view with them. During his internship in Dublin, he found a new view altogether. Not so much in the form of pictures but in the shape of collecting new experiences and working as well as living with people from different cultural backgrounds.

Angelo completed his internship at the IBAT College in Dublin where he was tasked with a variety of e-mails and checklist verification amongst other daily tasks.

It was a great mixture of fun and work. They gave me exciting tasks and so it was a great time there.

Outside of work one of his favourite pastimes was enjoying Dublin’s buzzing nightlife together with his friends.

Comparing his work placement to school back home, Angelo recognises that this trip has inspired him to further test and improve on his existing skills. By focussing his future education/work more on the media branch he could be making a career out of a childhood hobby.

The most exciting thing about living and working in a new country is to explore a new culture an meet new people.

Angelo’s future is looking bright and whilst finding a job in the media section and perhaps working in different places around the world is his next personal goal, he has some last minute advice for any students who are about to do their internship programme in Dublin or London

Don’t be afraid and try to absorb as much as you can from a new culture.
