Spring is upon us and we're eagerly awaiting the results for Erasmus+ Call 2016. In the meantime, we have a couple of updates for our long term partner schools or anyone else who's interested in Erasmus+ and European mobility.

Every other month we publish news and updates regarding deadlines, events or changes to our organisation. We believe in transparency, and this way you’re less likely to miss out on information about Erasmus+ and our Internship and Teacher Development programmes. Do you have any queries about our projects, accommodation or public transport? Please contact us or post a comment below.

1. The Erasmus+ results

The results from this year's Call will be published from mid-May onwards. When you receive the news, please remember to contact your Country Manager as soon as possible via email or on +44 20 84249424. If you have been granted funding, but are still searching for a notable partner organisation - look no further. We have years of experience when it comes to European mobility and will most likely be able to accommodate both your and your students' needs in terms of accommodation, work placements, education and logistics.

2. We are renewing our British Council accreditation

We're looking forward to our British Council accreditation in the autumn, which will last for another for years. As it states on their website, "Accreditation UK is a quality assurance scheme for schools, colleges, and universities which offer courses in English as a Foreign Language (EFL). The scheme gives an assurance of quality to international students who are taking or are planning to take an English language course in the UK. Our external inspections assure that all accredited centres meet or exceed the agreed quality standards in management, resources and environment, teaching, welfare and (where applicable) care of under 18s."

3. Learn something new with our Teacher Development courses

Are you a teacher or school employee who is interested in developing further in your field? We are looking for participants for our courses, due to run in the Spring of 2016. You can sign up on our website (just follow the links below) or email our International Staff Mobility Manager iuliana[at]adc-tt.co.uk if you would like more information about the day to day schedule or how to apply for Erasmus+ funding. The dates are as follows:

Teaching Young Learners: 25th – 29th June (one week)
Language Development for Teachers: 1st - 5th of August (one week)
Managing and Developing Self and Others: 8th - 12th of August (one week)
Creative Methodology and Language Development: 8th - 19th of August (2 weeks)

4. We're looking for admin and IT placement companies

Are you an admin or IT employer interested in supporting vocational students by providing work experience on an unpaid basis? Our ADC placement team collaborates with over 250 London companies to facilitate work experience projects for motivated international students. Many of our students have practical experience in their fields of study. We're especially on the lookout for long term (between 12 – 20 weeks) and short term (between two – five weeks) admin and IT placements. Please contact our Work Experience Team on +44 20 84249424.

5. Our new database will improve communication with partner schools

With the introduction of our new database, we will be able to record a larger amount of project data with less effort. The Activity Plan will be replaced by an individualised project summary, where we can record more details about placements, accommodation and the different steps of the project than before. The database will improve communication with our partners and enable us to spend more time doing what we're here for; making sure you and your students are gaining the most out of your London experience.

ADC College organises internships and teacher development for European schools that are eligible for Erasmus+ sponsorship. Don't hesitate to contact us if you would like more information about what we do and how to apply for funding. Call a Country Manager today on +44 2084249424 or send us a message.
