Lodging and Accommodation
In an attempt to meet most expectations, ADC College offers a wide range of accommodation options, all to high quality standards and providing maximum safety and security.
Homestay, Host Family Accommodation
Staying with a host family means immersion in the lifestyle and culture of families living in London. Students are immediately able to put into practice the day’s study and experiences; confidence levels will grow allowing any initial shyness at using the English language in every day situations to be more easily overcome.
The host families are all carefully selected for their high quality accommodation, closeness to ADC and their willingness to host and welcome our students into their homes and none is more than an easily walked 1.5kmdistance from ADC. All families are also very close to Harrow’s many bus routes. Accommodation is available in single or twin rooms with a shared bathroom (some with en-suite bathrooms are also available at an additional cost). Lodging options available are:
– Self-catering: Room only
– Bed and Breakfast: Breakfast only each day
– Half Board: Breakfast and dinner each day
– Full Board: Breakfast, Lunch (packed lunch) and dinner each day.
_ Hotel Accommodation
As an alternative to Homestay, ADC also offers accommodation in a 3 star hotel. The hotel is 5 minutes walk from Harrow-on-the-Hill station on the Metropolitan line (London Under- ground) and only 20 minutes by underground to the centre of London. ADC College is just 10 minutes away using one of the frequent buses from a choice of over 6 bus routes. The lodging options available include; Breakfast only, Half board (packed lunch) and Full board.
Hostel, Apartment or House share Accommodation
For these types of accommodation the only lodging option is self catering. Please ask for information if this style of accommodation is of interest.
Campus Accommodation
The “Harrow Campus” of the University of Westminster offers excellent quality and full board accommodation during the summer months from mid June to mid September each year. Situated in Northwick Park it enjoys instant access to the metropolitan underground line with the station of the same name on its door step. Accommodation is in single or twin rooms all with en-suite bathrooms and showers and a daily room cleaning service. Bed linen is changed weekly. All meals are served in the campus refectory that daily offers a wide selection of meals. As an alternative to full board residency, students can select either breakfast only or half board stays. The campus also offers access to a shop, TV room and launderette.
