Terminology

ADC College is the “host partner” to the “agent or promoter” (school, college or other organisation). The promoter sends a group of participants to London and to ADC College.

Introduction

England makes clear sense as the place to go to learn English. Central London is home to the headquarters of more than half of the UK’s top 100 companies listed on the FTSE 100, and to more than a fifth of Europe’s largest companies. It’s safe to say that London is a land of opportunity and a hub of activity and as such is an ideal location to incorporate work experience placements with English language study. Our programme encapsulates this ideal.

ADC College

ADC College is based in the leafy suburbs in Harrow and is situated only 20 metres away from Harrow & Wealdstone underground station, with fast, direct access to central London with direct trains taking less than 15 minutes.

ADC College is very proud of its track record in high levels of quality and safety. Work placement employers are rigorously screened by ADC College in close consultation with promoters. This ensures participant’s safety while they are visiting, studying and living in London as well as when they are working or taking part in any additional activities with ADC College.

Funded Programme

ADC College will support participants from the moment they arrive to the moment they leave, through every activity they participate with us in.

We offer participants a highly customisable, relevant and valuable course to build and increase participant’s skills and prospects in a highly interactive and engaging programme. We ensure that participants not only thoroughly enjoy the experience and acquire a lifetime of memories but build, guide and fine tune their skills ready for their future careers.

Participant’s minimum language experience required to take part in Leonardo is grade B2 or higher.

Your National Agency is responsible for ratification of the entire project and will perform checks to ensure every precaution and safety measure is taken throughout the entire duration of the project.

Unfunded Programme

We can offer participants the option to achieve recognised international qualifications, accredited as well as non-accredited in the English language. We can also provide an ‘employability workshops’ to increase participant’s interview skills, CV presentation, positive body language behaviour, job searching skills and other job preparation skills.

The exams we offer are Trinity exams and Pitman’s exams. We can also offer Cambridge exam preparation.

The application process

The agent or promoter must make the application in their won European Country.

You can outline your exact requirements, specifications and aspirations through our online enquiry form. We recommend that you take advantage of Leonardo’s Preparatory Visit funding to meet us and to facilitate the project planning process in order to build a more successful project. Please contact us to find out more.
